💖 Aftercare Instructions for Body Art Makeup

For Microshading (Semi-Permanent Makeup)

Proper aftercare is essential to achieving beautiful, long-lasting results from your semi-permanent makeup. Please follow these steps carefully and contact us if you have any concerns during the healing process.

🔄 General Aftercare (10–14 Days)

  • Keep the area clean and dry—avoid getting it wet in the shower or bath.

  • Gently cleanse with a damp cotton pad, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of A&D Ointment using a cotton swab twice daily.

  • No sweating, workouts, or steam (gyms, saunas, hot tubs).

  • Avoid swimming, sun exposure, and all forms of tanning.

  • Do not pick, peel, or scratch the area—allow natural flaking.

💁‍♀️ Brows

  • Avoid applying makeup or moisturizers on or near the brows.

  • No facials, brow tinting, waxing, laser, lamination, or serums for 4 weeks.

📅 What to Expect:

HEAL ➡ PEEL ➡ FADE

  • Days 1–7: Area will dry and form a light crust.

  • Days 7–14: The crust will flake and peel.

  • Days 14–21: Color may appear lighter or faded.

  • Days 21–28: Skin finishes healing and final results begin to show.
